Ahhhh!!!! So I signed up for the "Run for your life" 5K. Uh! I am excited but super scared. I have never run anything. I can run 3.2 miles but I have to stop sometimes because my asthma causes my lungs to feel like they are on fire. I am running it with a friend from work. I hope I don't hold her back and I hope I don't get made into a zombie. Ha ha!

Kickin the treadmill's a##!

Today and yesterday I did some ass kickin on the treadmill. I did 5 sets of walking at 4 mph for 2 minutes, running at 5 mph for 2 minutes, 5.5 mph for 2, 6 mph for 2, and 6.5 mph for one minute. I could feel it this morning in my back, abs, and ribs. It was good to feel the burn. Got to keep it up so I don't embarrass myself at the Warrior Dash.

No motivation!

I want to lose weight but right now I have no motivation. It sucks! I need a good kick in the ass. It is Minnesota and the temperatures have been barely above zero so it makes it hard to get up early in the morning and go to the gym. I do not know how those people run outside in this sort of weather. Craziness. Anyone willing to kick my ass - let me know.

Horrible!

Today was a nasty busy day at work. I was doing ok eating for the first part of the day. Had a greek yogurt for breakfast and then baked chicken, jasmine rice, and broccoli for lunch. Then I stayed an hour and half late to help at work and the hubby and kids called wanting pizza. I ate pizza - 2 pieces. Horrible. Next time I am just going to eat a bowl of cereal while they eat their pizza.

Maybe 2 blogs...?

So I am doing the 365 (366 this year) project this year again. I have that one blog but I have this blog from a while back. I think I might continue this blog for my weight loss journey venting.

Yesterday was a good day. I did 1 hour 15 minutes at the gym lifting, then helped put liquor away at the store (heavy lifting), and then did 3 miles on the treadmill before settling for the night. It will stink this next few days because I have to work my weekend and after 12 hour days I have no energy left to do anything. Some days I have only enough energy to put myself into pajamas and then into bed.
