I have signed up for a 10k in Aug 2013. It is the Women Rock run. There are firemen and bubbly at the end of the run. Yay! As if this was not enough, a pal at work convinced me to sign up for a 5k in the spring too. It is the Spring Fling Diva run. Ale and Mireya have always wanted to run with me. 5ks are way too much but this run has a Kids' Fun Run. It is a 1k. They both want to sign up for it. I think it will be fun!

Long time

It has been a long time since I posted on here but no one reads it any way.  I start week seven of the couch25K. I am so tired of being fat and I know I need to lose weight. Weight watchers does nothing for me. Just so tired of my clothes not fitting. Ah! I will try to be better at blogging - it will give me an outlet to vent.

I had surgery and now have to be on weight restrictions/ no exercise for 6 weeks. I will be off on April 4 and then have to get my ass back in shape in 2 months for the June 2 Run for your Life 5k. Uh! I hope I can do it

Yes!

I had a great weekend of running. Yesterday I ran 3.3 miles straight without stopping and today 3.5! I have to cover the time and mile screen on the treadmill and set a playlist on my ipod that is the time it usually takes me to run 3.5. I used to psych myself out looking at the time and miles and would mentally think I could not do it. I made it two days without doing that. Yes!

Zombies!

Ahhhh!!!! So I signed up for the "Run for your life" 5K. Uh! I am excited but super scared. I have never run anything. I can run 3.2 miles but I have to stop sometimes because my asthma causes my lungs to feel like they are on fire. I am running it with a friend from work. I hope I don't hold her back and I hope I don't get made into a zombie. Ha ha!

Kickin the treadmill's a##!

Today and yesterday I did some ass kickin on the treadmill. I did 5 sets of walking at 4 mph for 2 minutes, running at 5 mph for 2 minutes, 5.5 mph for 2, 6 mph for 2, and 6.5 mph for one minute. I could feel it this morning in my back, abs, and ribs. It was good to feel the burn. Got to keep it up so I don't embarrass myself at the Warrior Dash.

No motivation!

I want to lose weight but right now I have no motivation. It sucks! I need a good kick in the ass. It is Minnesota and the temperatures have been barely above zero so it makes it hard to get up early in the morning and go to the gym. I do not know how those people run outside in this sort of weather. Craziness. Anyone willing to kick my ass - let me know.
